The Stateline goes all out for Easter every year! This year, Easter is later happening on April 5th. There are always so many Easter Egg Hunts happening in the Stateline. The Stateline has some fantastic museums and gardens! If you want to visit these gems with your kids, you don’t have to break the bank. Where to Go Skiing Near the Stateline
If you want to take the kids skiing, you’ll need to travel a little bit outside of the Stateline to do so! There are several ski resorts and ski hills less than two hours from Rockford, Illinois that you can visit this winter. Many of these resorts have skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing available. It’s best to make a reservation before going. The resorts are listed in order of distance from Rockford, Illinois.
