GAR Around the World

GAR Summer Camp is designed to keep campers active, engaged, and excited for each new day. With our “Around the World” theme, campers will experience fun adventures, creative activities, hands-on projects, and exciting weekly outings all summer long. BCCD Summer Camps at Boone County Conservation District
899 Appleton Rd, Belvidere, IL
Campers will explore the wonders of nature, go on hikes, listen to stories, sing songs, and do crafts. Camp Ducktails focus on getting the youngest explorers into nature. Camp Redwing includes field trips, science explorations, fishing, and arts and crafts. Camp Redtail is a three-week program. It includes a week of day camp practicing skills and team building. Then an adventure-based four-day camping trip that introduces minimum-impact camping and caving. We finish with a final week of day camp reminiscing about the trip and going on other local adventures.
