
If you’re looking for a free program to get your kids active this summer, Rockford has a free summer playground program that’s worth checking out! This program provides outdoor entertainment, socialization, and fun for your kids.

Time2Play Playground Program
Rockford Park District offers Time 2 Play Neighborhood Playground Programs for kids ages 5-12 years olds. These programs are a fun, safe, and active opportunity to make new friends and enjoy the summer. Kids can expect to play sports, games, have fun in the water, and more. They are available at eight playground locations in Rockford and Loves Park in 2024. Each site has a maximum capacity of 75 participants. These programs are FREE for kids to attend.
When: Monday – Friday from June 17 – August 19, 2024
All sites run from 1 pm – 5 pm except Highland Park which runs from 9 am – 1 pm, Keye-Malquist Park which runs from 9 am – 5 pm, Mandeville Park which runs from 11 am – 5 pm, and Wantz Park which runs from 9 am – 5 pm.
