There’s a little bit of summer left and we have a fun way you can get outside, enjoy some good food and live music while socially distancing. Every Wednesday until the end of August, Beloit Public Library is hosting Wednesdays at the Library on their patio. 

This weekly event includes live music on the patio with a new musical artist, food truck, and Beloit Public Library’s own Blender Cafe.

There are still three performances left before they wrap up for the year.

When: Wednesdays through August 26, 2020 from 11:30 am – 1 pm

Where: Beloit Public Library patio located at 605 Eclipse Blvd, Beloit, WI

Cost: Admission is free, lunch costs range between $5-10 for items

Upcoming Wednesdays at the Library Performances

August 12: Fred & Ginger will be performing and the Route 26 Hamburger Stand will be serving lunch. 

Fred & Ginger are an acoustic duo playing an eclectic mix from the ’60s to today, and everything in between.

Route 26 Hamburger Stand is traveling food truck located in Janesville, Wisconsin. They specialize in burgers, Italian beef, chicken strips, fries, and more. 

August 19: Merlot Avenue will be performing and Tacos El Gordo will be serving lunch.

Merlot Avenue is a duo covering rock, pop, country and other songs from the ‘60s to present day. They also play original material.

Tacos El Gordo is a taco food truck located in Beloit, Wisconsin. They serve tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. 

August 26: Harlan Jefferson will be performing.

Harlan Jefferson is an award-winning saxophonist who plays a wide range of music styles including Motown, jazz, oldie goldies, country, rock, R&B, and more.

The food vendor will be announced for this performance at a later date.

You can also pick up lunch at the Blender Cafe which is located in the Beloit Public Library. They will be serving items like sandwiches, soup, hot dogs, drinks and more.

Beloit Public Libray is hosting numerous in-person events with limited attendance like weekly storytimes. You can view all of their upcoming events on our calendar.
