It’s food truck season and our local food trucks are doing something special to make sure we can safely socially distance and get the delicious food we love!

Starting Wednesday, May 13th, SIX local food trucks will be parked at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park for you to drive-thru and enjoy! This event will likely be very popular so expect a large line and long wait times!

UPDATE: Beginning on July 2nd, the Food Truck Drive Thru will move to Forest Plaza (6125 E State St, Rockford, IL) and will become a walk-thru event. It will only run Thursdays from 4-8 pm.

How does it work:

The Drive-Thru food truck event makes it so you never have to leave your car. Here are the steps you’ll take:

  1. Drive in and receive a menu with what each truck is serving that day
  2. Order and pay from your car (exact cash or card)
  3. Wait in your truck’s line for the food to be brought to your car
  4. Go to another truck’s line and repeat the process
  5. Drive home and enjoy your food!
