Do you and your kids enjoy a challenge? Corn mazes are a great way for families to have fun and spend an hour getting lost and having an adventure.

Unfortunately, there are no corn mazes in the Rockford area, but there are several a short drive away in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. All of these mazes are located within orchards or pumpkin patches with lots of other activities so you can make a whole day out of your visit.

All Seasons Orchard has many activities for families to enjoy on a fall day. There is a corn maze with two paths – an easier path for kids and a more challenging one for older kids, apple picking, pumpkin picking, petting zoo, wagon rides, and a sandbox.

Jonamac Orchard is a great place to stop for a corn maze and other orchard fun. They have a corn maze, bakery, cider house, barnyard animals, and a play area.

Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch is an amazing place for a full day of fun. They have a corn maze and a munchkin maze for the little kids to go through on their own, a petting zoo, pony rides, camel rides, train rides, pig racing, wagon rides, haunted house, jumping pillow and more.

Richardson Farm has TONS of stuff for kids to do and one of the most epic corn mazes around. Their maze is 9-10 miles long! There’s also a pumpkin patch, games, an observation tower, train rides, wagon rides, a carousel, pig racing, a petting zoo, a bunny farm, play area and more.

Skelly’s Farm Market is a great place to visit in the summer and fall. They have two mazes including their Impossible Maze where you have to find 12 checkpoints while going through the maze. There’s also cider, donuts, and other treats, wagon rides, and apple cannons.
