Rockford Park District’s Canine Corners Dog Parks invites the public to enjoy outdoor fun with their dogs at a free “Fall Pawty” open house event scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 10 am until 2 pm (rain date: Sept. 22) at the Canine Corners Searls location, 4950 Safford Rd. (off S. Central Ave.) in northwest Rockford, IL.

Among the event’s activities will be a Rockford Police Department K9 demonstration at 11:00, a dog costume contest with prizes at noon, vendors, and raffle prizes. The Vintage Goose food truck will be on site offering items for purchase. Donations to help with operation and maintenance of the dog parks will be gratefully accepted at the event. The event is open to the public, however, all dogs in attendance must be spayed/neutered.
