Looking for some fun for Spring Break? Head to a world of insects at Balloon Adventure: Buggin’ Out, happening March 19–29, 2026, at PIER 290 in Williams Bay, Wisconsin!

This immersive event transforms an entire showroom into a bug’s paradise crafted from over 150,000 balloons. There are colorful creatures, tons of photo opps, and some real life insects that you can see and touch.

Interactive Fun for Kids

This isn’t just a walk-through display—it’s an experience!

  • Each child receives a balloon to carry safely through the exhibit
  • Kids can participate in a scavenger hunt as they explore and stamp their passports
  • At the end, they’ll pop their balloon to reveal a surprise friend to take home

There’s also a complimentary coloring station where kids can sit and create their own sea-inspired artwork before heading out.

Special Events You Won’t Want to Miss

In addition to the main exhibit, there are several themed events happening throughout the event:

  • Afterglow Rave – A dance party happening on March 20th
  • Blockbuster Adventure – A movie night among the balloons on March 27th
  • Balloon Storytimes – Storytime among the displays on March 24th and 26th
  • Balloon Popping Party – Kids ages 10+ can help pop thousands of balloons in a fun, fast-paced finale on the last day
