Illinois does not allow handheld fireworks, bottle rockets, firecrackers, etc. They do allow sparklers, glow worms, smoke devices, and trick noisemakers. Wisconsin allows you to buy all types of fireworks, but you need a permit to shoot them off. Have fun and be safe!

Poplar Grove Fireworks
200 N. Hill St., Poplar Grove, IL
When: Saturday, June 13 at dusk
Cost: Free
Poplar Grove will be holding a 15 minute firework show on Saturday, June 13th.
Davis Junction Fireworks
101 Lincoln Avenue, Davis Junction, IL
When: Friday, July 3 at dusk
Cost: Free
Davis Junction will be holding a fireworks show at the Community Park (101 Lincoln Ave., Davis Junction, IL) on July 3rd. They will not be shooting ground fireworks so that the show can be seen from a distance. They ask that you keep social distance if viewing from the park.
Red, White and Boom Fireworks at Rockford Speedway
9572 Forest Hills Rd., Loves Park, IL
When: July 4, 2020 from 7 pm – 10:30 pm
Cost: TBA
Rockford Speedway offers car racing and a fireworks show at dusk. You can see this fireworks show from various locations around the Speedway including Wentland Park.

Fireworks at Rockford Rivets Stadium
4503 Interstate Blvd., Loves Park, IL
When: July 4th at 7 pm
Show starts at 9:30 pm
Cost: $12 per person in the stadium
$25 per car in the parking lot
The Rockford Rivets will be hosting a fireworks show in their stadium on July 4th. Seating is first come first serve and a full drink and food menu will be available.
Shirland Fireworks
When: July 5, 2020 Time TBA

Scheduled Fourth of July Fireworks in Nearby Cities (Less than 2 hours away from Rockford)
