Just Between Friends Rockford Sale: Everything You Need to Know

In case you haven’t heard the news, Just Between Friends is back in Rockford! The popular kids’ resale event hasn’t happened here for several years, but new ownership has brought the sale back to the Stateline region!

Just Between Friends is a semi-annual consignment sale that offers a wide variety of children’s and maternity items at great prices. The sale is packed with deals on strollers, baby toys, kids’ clothing in all sizes, Halloween costumes, shoes, books, and lots more. Families can expect to get items at 50-90% less than retail prices.

What to expect at the JBF Rockford sale

The JBF Rockford sale is a big event with thousands of shoppers attending during the four-day sale from October 11-14, 2023. This year, the sake is being held at a large building across the street from Don Carter Lanes off E. State Street in Rockford. The sale will be divided into different sections for different types of items, such as clothes, toys, books, and baby items.

All of the items at the JBF sale are gently used and have been inspected for quality and safety. Shoppers can find everything they need for their children, from infant clothes and toys to pre-teen and teen clothing and accessories. The sale also offers a selection of maternity clothing and baby gear.

How to shop the JBF Rockford sale

In order to shop the sale, you’ll need a ticket. JBF offers a variety of free ticket options for first-time parents, teachers, foster and adoptive parents, military families, first responders, and more. They also offer Prime Time tickets to get in before the crowds for $10 per person. Free admission is available on October 12-13 and October 14 is half-price day. Once shoppers have entered the sale, they can browse the different sections and shop. There will be bags available to carry items.

All items at the JBF sale are priced individually by the sellers and shoppers can pay with cash or credit cards.

Tips for shopping the JBF Rockford sale

Here are a few tips for shopping the JBF Rockford sale:

• Arrive early. The best deals tend to go quickly, so it is best to arrive early on the first day of the sale!
• Grab tickets for any big items that you may want. JBF will hold those items until you’re ready to check out and leave.
• Make a plan! Consider the items your kids need now and what they may need in the next few months.
• Don’t be afraid to shop a size or two up. You can find some great deals on items that your kids will need next year right now!

How to sell at the JBF Rockford sale

Do you have unwanted or outgrown kids’ items at home? JBF can help you turn those items into cash! The average seller makes around $350! The Fall sale is still taking vendors. 

To sell items, you must first create an account on the JBF website and register for the sale. Check out their seller guide for more information on how to get started.

Once you have registered, you can start tagging your items for sale. You can tag your items at home or at the drop-off event.

When you drop off your items, you will be given a seller number. You will use this number to track your sales and pick up your unsold items at the end of the sale.
