
Sunflowers can put a smile on anyone’s face! If you’d like to see some of these friendly flowers this summer, there are a few places you can go in the Stateline or a short drive away.
**Please note: Before you go, check the farm’s Facebook page. They may be closed for the day due to weather or crowds.**

Skelly’s has a large sunflower field that is perfect for taking pictures. There are six acres of sunflowers to walk through and 12 “prop stops” where you can take pictures with strawbales, ladders, etc. For 2023, there’s a new pollinator path that kids can follow and do silly prompts.
Admission to the sunflower fields includes two options:
- $9/person (ages 4-12) or $12 per adult includes admission to the field, 1 cut sunflower to take home, a choice of donut from their bakery, and 10% off sunflower gifts in their retail barn.
- $16/person includes admission to the field, 6 cut sunflowers to take home, a choice of donut from their bakery, and 10% off sunflower gifts in their retail barn.
- $30/person includes admission to the field, 12 cut sunflowers to take home, a galvanized bucket for your flowers, a choice of donut, and 10% off sunflower gifts in their retail barn.
Admission is required for people ages 4 and up. Kids 3 and under are free.
Skelly’s also offers events in their sunflower fields during the 2-3 week season including a new butterfly release event this year. You can see a list of events here.

Von Bergen’s Country Market has a least one maze open all season this year.
There is also a playground for kids on-site and barrel train rides are available. Crandall’s Restaurant will be on-site with their Li’l Red Hen food truck.

Stade’s has more than 2 acres of 18 different varieties of sunflowers. They also grow a variety of other flowers. Bring a stroller or wagon if you have little ones because the field is not near a parking lot.

Tom’s Farm Market has over four acres of sunflower fields with photo ops along the way. There is a small play area for kids as well. The field is a 5-8 minute walk from the parking lot. Get tickets for the sunflower fields here.

Goebbert’s Farm (Pingree Grove)

Cut your own sunflower for $1 each
Goebbert’s is offering a 4-acre sunflower field and maze. There is also a UPICK flower field where you can cut a bouquet for $5. A UPICK vegetable field opens up on August 11th.=
