There are several parades happening for the Fourth of July in the Stateline area this year. Be sure to get your spot saved early as streets will be blocked off a few hours before the event. Here’s a list of the 2023 parades you can attend this July 4th!

Sunday, July 2nd

Dixon’s Parade starts at 1 pm on Peoria Avenue from St. Mary’s Catholic Church and heads north to Dixon High School where it ends. The parade is part of the Petunia Festival which includes a weekend of fun. See a schedule of the events here.

Crystal Lake’s parade starts at 1 pm on Woodstock St. at the Municipal Complex then goes to Dole Ave. and ends at South Elementary School.

Tuesday, July 4th

Rochelle’s parade starts at 11 am from City Hall and goes downtown to Cooper Park. Anyone is welcome to decorate bikes and line up at 10 am at City Hall if they’d like to be part of the parade.

Winnebago’s parade starts at 10 am from McNair Rd. and head west to Benton St., then south to Winnebago St., then east to Elida St., and end at Ferguson Ln.

Shirland’s parade starts at 10 am from Harrison Rd. The parade has bikes, horses, floats, tractors and more.

Kirkland’s parade starts at 11 am on N. 1st Street and heads down Main then ends on S. 4th Street. Kirkland has an entire weekend of fun happening. You can view a schedule of events here.

Sharon’s parade starts at 11 am in downtown Sharon. There is a party at Goodland Memorial Park following the parade.

Milton’s parade starts at 1 pm on Madison Ave. and Crescent Dr. and goes east down Madison to Hilltop Dr. then heads south to Municipal Dr. Milton also has a weekend-long festival. You can view a schedule of events here.

Cherry Valley’s parade starts at 1 pm at Village Hall (806 E. State St) and proceeds to Baumann Park. Kids can decorate their bikes by 12:30 pm to be part of the parade.

Delavan’s parade starts at 3 pm in downtown Delavan.

Durand’s parade starts at 4 pm from Center Square. Durand has a weekend of fun events planned for the holiday. You can view the event schedule here.

Rockford’s parade starts at 4:40 pm with motorcycles, followed by Screw City Jeeps at 4:50, then the main parade at 5 pm. The starting location is on 7th Street headed towards E. State and it ends at N. Church Street.

Kids’ Bike Parades

There are two kids’ bike parades happening in the Stateline during the Fourth of July weekend. Both events are free.

Little Lions Bike Parade in Milton, WI on July 1st at 11 am. Kids ages 12 and under can bring their decorated bikes and ride the path at Schilberg Park. Register here.

Sharon, WI has a Big Wheel race on July 4th at 9 am in front of the Small Town Lounge. Registration begins at 8:45 am.

Fourth of July Bike Parade at Riverside Park in Beloit on July 4th at 9:30 am. Bring your bikes and decorate them with provided supplies before parading around the lagoon. Prizes will be awarded to the most creative bikes. Preregistration is required. Register by calling 608-364-2890 by June 29th.

Cherry Valley allows kids on bikes to ride in their parade. Bikes need to be dedicated and at Village Hall by 12:30 pm to be part of the parade. The parade is at 1 pm on July 4th.
