Briarcrest Park has a brand new playground built in 2021 with a walking path surrounding it and green space to run around. It is located behind the Pine Tree Plaza shopping area in Janesville. The playground has two mom and baby swings as well as standard swings, a four-seater seesaw, and a spinning chair for kids that love to spin on office chairs. There are several slides and different climbing structures on the medium-sized playground. There are also many benches and a few picnic tables where families can relax. The park is located off of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, a paved path that covers over 1,000 miles in Wisconsin.

If you go, you may want to bring:

  • Sunscreen – The playground is in partial sun
  • Water – The fountain may not be in service due to COVID19
