Join Welty and on a sensory night hike!

Dave Bendlin, local naturalist and retired Milton biology and environmental studies teacher, will lead a hike in Big Hill Park to smell night-blooming flowers, look for bats, bioluminescent fungi, glow worms, and fireflies and listen for crickets, frogs and owls. The hike will cover roughly 2 miles around the park with frequent stops to use our senses on a warm summer night. Wear light colored clothing and some type of mosquito repellent, but please leave your flashlights at home.
