Calling all kids – are you ready to get dirty? Join Rockford Park District’s Nicholas Conservatory for a free celebration of International Mud Day. International Mud Day was started in 2008, and is celebrated by children all over the world as a way to connect with nature through the earth. This popular event will be held outdoors on the grounds of the Conservatory, and will include muddy activities, games, educational experiences, and more. Registration is not required; dress for mess – you will get muddy! Hose-down stations will be available, however, a change of clothes for the ride home is suggested.
