Enjoy the woods while walking with your furry best friend! Join Atwood staff and explore the woods, learn about the wildlife, and learn about some of the history of the park. Dogs are welcome to join this hike, but it must be people- and dog-friendly.

The hike will be held rain or shine. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather, and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Participants should bring bug spray, sunscreen, and a water bottle for themselves and their dog(s).

Requirements for dogs: • A current rabies vaccine and visible rabies tag are required for this event. • All dogs must be spayed/neutered. • No flexi or retractable leashes are allowed. • Participants are required to pick up and dispose of their dog’s waste, and provide water for their dog(s). (Waste bags will not be provided) • Two dogs max, per person. • Only adults 18 and older may handle dogs for this hike; attendance is open to participants ages 10 and up.

Any dogs showing signs of or acting aggressively will be asked to leave.
