The Janesville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. is pleased to announce the return of the popular Art Infusion Sidewalk Chalk Art event. It will be held September 7 & 8, at Firehouse Park in downtown Janesville. Competitors will be asked to create their best sidewalk chalk art mural.

Master Chalk Artist/Street Painter, Leigh Alfredson (A.K.A. Lee Jones) will return to be the featured chalk artist for the event. Leigh’s mural will be made from an image taken at the Janesville Town Square Gran Prix featuring cyclists with the new Black Hawk mural as the backdrop.

The 2-day event will include Leigh’s mural creation and a sidewalk chalk art competition for two age groups (age 7-12 and 13 and up).

The event will run from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, September 7 and 10 AM to 2 PM on Sunday, September 8.
