Students in the Rockford 205 Public School District can utilize free laundry services thanks to several local organizations again in 2024. Molina Healthcare Charitable Foundation, Rock House and 5 Alarm Coin Laundry teamed up to offer this service to students so they can have fresh and clean clothing all school year.
The Fresh for Learning program started in 2021 and has been held at 5 Alarm Coin Laundry for the past four years. This year, the program is offered at both the Riverside location (3939 W. Riverside Boulevard) and the Alpine Road location (3110 S. Alpine Road). The program is offered Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

Families are allowed to do two loads of laundry at each appointment. Laundry detergent is provided.
