
Gather round, it’s time to celebrate the spookiest holiday of the year! There are lots of fun Halloween events, both scary and not, happening in the Rockford region this season. From haunted trail walks, to fairytale hayrides, and everything in between, you’re sure to find something fun and festive to do with your family this year. Here’s a list of the upcoming Halloween events in the Stateline.

Witches’ Ball at The Pumpkin Patch

Cost: $5 per person, ages 2 and under are free
Dance the night away in a Halloween costume and take a hayride, visit the petting zoo, haunted shed, and more.
Enchanted Forest at Palmer Park

Take a non-scary walk through seven constructed scenes from fairytales with characters passing out items.
Hollywood Hayride at Palmer Park

A star-studded adventure with six scenes from popular movies and TV shows. Actors will come to life when you ride by.
Halloween Rocks at the Guilford Country Club Estates Neighborhood

Pumpkin Walk at Eagles Ridge Park

Take a walk through Eagles Ridge Park to see LED-lit Jack O’ Lanterns and listen to a story from Beloit Public Library. The first 50 kids will get a Halloween craft.
Festival of Frights at Sinnissippi Park

Cost: Free, donations appreciated
Drive through Sinnissippi Park to see Halloween displays. This event raises money for children who are in need of Halloween costumes.
Parent’s Night Out Costume Party at Beauty in Motion Dance Arts

Enjoy a day of food trucks, glowing pumpkin walk at dusk, free kids games and activities, yard games, candy, and prize.
Spook the Dells at Severson Dells Nature Center

Enjoy a Trunk or Treat outside then head in for an open gym, sensory room, costume contest, crafts, and activities. Take a hayride to Element Athletics for a haunted house. The Ultimate Package includes all of the activities for $35 in advance / $40 at the door. The Haunted Package includes the hayride, haunted house, and candy for $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
