Everyone’s a little bit Irish on St. Patrick’s Day! Here are some fun family-friendly events happening for St. Patrick’s Day in the Rockford area AND adults-only events if you want celebrate without the kids! This year St. Patrick’s Day falls on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

2022 St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Where: Downtown Rockford

Parade starts at 3 pm from BMO Harris Bank Center
The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is back on in downtown Rockford! The parade will kick off from the BMO Harris Bank Center, travel up 7th Street, left on State Street, and right on Madison to end at the Prairie Street Brewhouse for Paddyfest – which is also back this year! They will also be dyeing the Rock River green at 5 pm from Prairie Street Brewhouse.
Cost: Parade is free to view
Paddyfest is $10 per person (12 and up). Get tickets here.
