Looking to take your kids to see Santa, take a photo, and tell him their Christmas lists? You can find Santa at a variety of places in the Stateline starting as soon as the second week of November!

CherryVale Mall

Santa in Center Court

When: November 27 – December 24, 2020


  • Monday – Saturday: 11 am – 8 pm
  • Sunday: 12 pm – 6 pm
  • Christmas Eve: 9 am – 1 pm, 2 pm – 5 pm

Please note that Santa takes a break to feed the reindeer from 3 pm to 4 pm on Monday through Saturday and from 2:30 pm to 3 pm on Sunday.

This year Santa visits at CherryVale Mall must be scheduled in advance. These visits with be contactless and hand sanitizing stations will be available. Face masks are required for children 2 and up as well as adults Reserve your visit here.

Photo Packages

CherryVale offers a variety of photo packages ranging from $39 – $49.

Santa Visits at Williams Tree Farm

When: November 14 – December 20
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5 pm – 7:30 pm
Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am – 6:30 pm.

Where: Williams Tree Farm
4661 Yale Bridge Rd., Rockton, IL

Cost: $1 per person to enter Children’s Farm

Stop by the Children’s Farm at Williams Tree Farm to see Santa and Mrs. Claus at a social distance. Masks will need to be worn.

Santa at the Festival of Lights

When: November 27 – November 29
December 4 – 6
December 11 – 13
December 18 – 20
from 7 pm – 9 pm

Where: Sinnissippi Park
1401 N. 2nd St., Rockford, IL

Cost: Free, donations are appreciated

Drive through and wave hi to Santa at the Festival of Lights.

Santa is Coming to Rockford

When: December 12, 19 from 10 am – 2 pm

Where: Kegel Harley Davidson
7125 Harrison Ave., Rockford, IL

Cost: Free with a charitable donation

Santa is Coming to Rockford

When: December 19 at 2 pm

Where: Riverside Assembly of God

Cost: Free

Enjoy a free photo with Santa. There will be Christmas activities and hot cocoa, and a free gift from Santa for the first 70 kids in line.

See Santa Virtually From Home

Stroll on State is offering free virtual Santa visits. Sign up on their website on Tuesdays for a Zoom call with Santa.

Holiday Magic Options include Live Zoom Video call with Santa, storytime, or photos.

Luxe Productions is offering virtual Santa visits for $49.95 or personalized messages for $19.95. You can sign up here.
