The Rockford area knows how to have fun for Halloween! There are many events happening in the Stateline throughout October in celebration of Halloween. There are parties, outdoor events, parades, costume contests, and more! Unless noted, all of the events below are for kids of all ages and are family-friendly and not scary.

We will continue to add events to this calendar as we find them. If you know of an event we’ve missed, please email us!

If you’re looking for more Halloween fun, you can find Trunk or Treat events here, Drive-thru Halloween events here and Trick or Treat times for your city here.

2020 Update: Please follow all county health guidelines and wear masks when indoors or unable to social distance at these events. Check event descriptions for more details. Before going to the event, check the link to make sure the event is still happening. We do our best to keep this page up-to-date, but changes are happening rapidly.

Costumes are encouraged at these events!
