
Beloit Winterfest is a family-friendly weekend of outdoor and indoor winter fun located twenty minutes from Rockford.
Beloit Winterfest runs Friday, January 24 – Sunday, January 26, 2020.
There will be indoor and outdoor activities happening throughout Beloit. These events include ice skating, luminary walks, horse-drawn carriage rides, open swim, and more. Most Winterfest events are free or low-cost.

Friday, January 24
Winter Wonderland at Grinnell Hall
631 Bluff Street
When: 1 – 3 pm
Cost: Free
Play Winter Wonderland themed games and activities and enjoy light refreshments.
Luminary Riverside Walk at Riverside Lagoon
When: Begins at 6 pm
Cost: Free
Enjoy an illuminated evening stroll with friends and family around the lagoon walking path. The path will be illuminated throughout the evening. the concession stand will be open with hot chocolate and snacks available for purchase.

Open Skate with DJ at Edwards Ice Arena
2101 Cranston Road
When: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Cost: $5/kids 17 years old and under, $6/adult, $17/family of 4
Skate rentals – $3 per person
Skate while listening to music from a DJ.
Saturday, January 25
Snow Volleyball at The Rock
101 Maple Ave.
When: 10 am
Cost: $100 per team of 4-8 players
Play a game of snow volleyball on the sand courts. Winners will receive a Winterfest sweatshirt. Call 608-364-2890 to register.
Winterfest Fun at Beloit Public Library
605 Eclipse Blvd.
When: 10 am – 12 pm
Cost: Free
Participate in fun crafts and other winter activities. Kids of all ages are welcome.
Family Gymnastics at Stateline Family YMCA Gymnastics Center
1239 Huebbe Pkwy
When: 1 – 2 pm
Cost: $3 per person or $10 per family of four
Balance on the high beam, climb a rope, jump in the above-ground foam block pit.
“Frozen” Themed Open Skate at Edwards Ice Arena
2101 Cranston Road
When: 2 – 4 pm
Cost: $5/kids 17 years old and under, $6/adult, $17/family of 4
Skate rental – $3 per person
Enjoy ice skating as well as Frozen themed activities and crafts in the lobby.
Sunday, January 26

Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides at Big Hill Park
1101 Big Hill Rd
When: 11 am – 1 pm
Cost: Free
Take a horse-drawn sleigh ride around beautiful Big Hill Park. Dress warmly! Enjoy hot chocolate and crafts afterward.
Pickleball Tournament at Beloit Memorial High School
1225 4th St.
When: 12:30 pm
Cost: $20, includes a t-shirt
Players will change partners each game. Medals for 1st and 2nd place. Register in advance here.
Euchre Tournament at Krueger Haskell Golf Club
1611 Hackett Street
When: 12:45 pm
Cost: $5 per entry and quarter bumps
