Get in the holiday spirit by attending a parade! Here is a list of holiday parades in the Stateline area. There are parades in Machesney Park, Loves Park, Rockford, Rockton, Beloit, and Janesville. All of the parades are free to attend!
Light Up the Parks Holiday Parade (Loves Park and Machesney Park)
When: November 18, 2018
4:45 pm – 7:45 pm
Where: Parade starts at Schneider Electric on Clifford Avenue then goes down Elm Avenue, Roosevelt, and ends in the Machesney Towne Center (former Machesney Park Mall).
The Light Up the Parks Holiday Parade will travel through Loves Park and Machesney Park. An awards ceremony will take place during the Village of Machesney Park Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony immediately following the parade in the Town Center Roundabout.

Downtown Beloit Grand Lighted Holiday Parade
When: November 23, 2018
5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where: Downtown Beloit
There’s nothing quite like a lighted parade to spark off the holiday season! Join us in the First National Bank and Trust Plaza for Santa’s arrival from a rooftop to light the tree.

Stroll on State Parade (Rockford)
When: November 24, 2018
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Where: Downtown Rockford

Jolly Jingle Holiday Lighted Parade (Janesville)
When: December 1, 2018
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Where: Downtown Janesville
Marvel at the parade entries as they share holiday themes, tunes, and treats. This parade is part of a weekend of fun that runs from November 30 – December 1, 2018.

Rockton Christmas Parade
When: December 1, 2018
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Where: Downtown Rockton
The Rockton Christmas Parade is part of the 34th annual Rockton Christmas Walk that runs December 1-2, 2018. Activities include parade, pictures with Santa, ‘Smores roasting station, chili lunch and supper, letters to Santa and lighting of the park at 4 pm.

Electronic Christmas Parade (St. Charles)
When: December 1, 2018
5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Where: Downtown St. Charles
The annual Electric Christmas Parade takes place Saturday at 5:30 pm on Main Street in St. Charles. There also is seasonal music, holiday movies, sleigh rides and visits with Santa.
