Wondering what to do with your Jack o’ Lantern after Halloween? There are a few fun events happening in the Rockford area to help you dispose of your pumpkins. Gather up your pumpkins and get ready for some fun!
Pumpkin Smash at Byron Fire Tower
Where: 420 N. Colfax St, Byron, IL
When: November 1, 2018
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Cost: Free
Bring your pumpkins and throw them off the fire tower to try to hit the bullseye. Cookies and apple cider will be served.

Pumpkin Smashing at Discovery Center Museum
Where: Discovery Center Museum
711 N Main St, Rockford, IL
When: November 4, 2018
1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Cost: Free for members, $8 per person for admission, children 1 and under are free
Launch your pumpkin from a giant trebuchet. Join the fun and create a catapult, celebrate the harvest and have a smashing good time. Included with Discovery Center admission.
