Porter Park is in a beautiful area filled with wildflowers and a creek. The playground has several pieces of climbing equipment and a unique moving/unsteady balance beam. The playground has features that would make for a good obstacle course. There is also plenty of grassy space to run around and play Frisbee golf.

If you go, you may want to bring:

  • A packed lunch – There‚Äôs a picnic table where you can eat
  • Baseball bats and balls – There are two baseball fields in the park
  • Frisbees – There is a frisbee golf course in the park

**Note: The swings are hung high so they might be difficult for kids younger than 5 to climb on and off.
