July 4 Bike Parade
Kids ages 3-12 can decorate their bikes and participate in a bike parade. Register here.

Light up the Parks Parade
Watch a lighted parade travel through Loves Park and end at the Machesney Park Town Center where Mr. and Mrs. Claus will light the trees, and there will be fireworks.
Halloween Parade
Watch a Halloween parade with floats then enjoy free ice cream and hot dogs at the Community Building immediately after the parade. The parade kicks off at 7 pm.

Bring your preschoolers and toddlers to the library in costume to march in their costumes downtown (weather permitting) or through the library.
