SUMMARY:Taste of Spectrum: Critical Thinking Across the Curriculum Ages 10-12
DESCRIPTION:Critical Thinking Across the Curriculum for Ages 10-12 facilitated by Dr. Mary Beth Cunat \nStudents need to get past mere recall\, regurgitation\, copying and pasting\, and superficial answers. In this session\, children will sample several kinds of “thinking” challenges to develop and make explicit analysis\, synthesis\, and evaluation strategies to apply in different academic contexts. Recognizing what kind of thinking is required from academic tasks helps students be strategic in planning and developing a high-quality response and/or work product. \nCost: $10 non-refundable registration fee for materials and supplies in order to hold your child’s seat.
