DESCRIPTION:You can head to  Kinnikinnick Creek Conservation Area in Caledonia to celebrate with the Boone County Conservation District. Their new event Pioneers in Conservation is happening from 9 am – 3 pm on the 24th and is totally FREE to attend. \nDuring the event\, you will learn more about pollinators\, prairies\, geography\, and the restoration of habitats at Kinnikinnick Creek Conservation Area. You can help collect native seeds\, walk in the creek\, and explore!  \nThere is also an opportunity to camp out that night for only $25 per camping site. The amping vent will include night hikes to see bats and owls\, stargazing\, making s’mores and popping your own popcorn over a campfire.  \nYou can reserve your spot here: https://www.bccdil.org/pioneers_conservation/
