
This Fall get out and about and participate in some family-friendly events in the Stateline! The following events are all Fall themed and in order of when they happen this season. Be sure to check back regularly as we’ll add new events as we find them!

Vintage Shop Hop in Wisconsin and Illinois

When: October 4 – 5, 2024
Cost: Free admission
Vintage Shop Hop is a two-day event where you can road trip through Illinois and Wisconsin to visit local shops, boutiques, and markets that will be holding sales and running specials during this event.
Eerie Autumn Lights at the Arboretum at Klehm Arboretum
2715 S. Main St., Rockford, IL
When: October 3 – 31, 2024
5 pm – 9 pm
Cost: $12 per adult / $6 per kid under 12
Walk through trails decorated by lights, see Rockford’s biggest pumpkin, enjoy a kid’s spooky straw bale maze, and a ghost market.
Fall ArtScene in Downtown Rockford

Friday, October 4th from 5 pm – 9 pm
Saturday, October 5th from 4 pm – 9 pm
Cost: Free admission
Fall ArtScene is a biannual gallery walk where you can visit businesses in downtown Rockford and view and purchase local art. Artwork includes jewelry, paintings, sculpture, photography, and prints.
Fall Diddley Craft Show at the Boone County Fairgrounds

When: October 12 – 13, 2024
Cost: $10 per person / free for kids under 12 years old
Fall Diddley is a huge annual vendor fair with more than 250 booths. You can shop from dozens of vendors throughout different buildings on the fairgrounds. There will also be food for sale.
Valley Orchard Fall Festival at Valley Orchard
811 E. State St., Cherry Valley, IL
When: September 21 from 9 am – 5 pm
Cost: Free
Enjoy food trucks, music, wagon rides, and more.
Fall on the Farm Weekend at Lockwood Park
5201 Safford Rd., Rockford, IL
When: October 19 – 20 from 10 am – 5 pm
Cost: $12 per person / kids 2 and under are free
Lockwood Park will be having their Fall on the Farm for only one weekend this year. Admission wristbands include wagon rides, the corn maze, petting zoo, inflatables, photo opportunities and new games. There will be additional paid activities including a mechanical bull, pick your own pumpkins, face painting, S’mores and more. There will also be live entertainment and food trucks.
Fall Festival at RiverStone Christian Church
609 S. 10th St., Oregon, IL
When: October 25, 2024 from 6 pm – 8 pm
Cost: Free admission
Enjoy a fall festival with carnival games, prizes, candy, and a chili cook-off.
