Fall Festivals are one of our favorite things about the autumn season. They are filled with carnival rides, fair food, and local vendors. If you’re lucky, you get crisp weather during the event too! Here’s a list of fall festivals and fairs in the Stateline and what you can expect if you go!

Fall Fairs and Festivals in the Stateline

If you want to enjoy a fall fair or festival this year, here are the options in the Stateline and a short drive away.

Roscoe Lions Fall Festival at Leland Park

5727 Broad St., Roscoe, IL

September 6 – 8, 2024
Friday from 5 pm – 10 pm
Saturday from 10:30 am – 10 pm
Sunday from 12 pm – 7 pm

Cost: Free admission, each experience costs money
Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20
Bingo games are $1 each or 4 for $3

The Roscoe Lions Fall Festival is a small-town festival with rides, games, live music, food, raffles, and Bingo. There is also a parade through Roscoe at 11 am on Sunday. View a schedule of events for the Fall Festival here.


German Society Oktoberfest

Loves Park Festival Grounds in Loves Park, IL

September 28, 2024 from 11 am – 11 pm

Cost: TBA

Oktoberfest is back at the Loves Park festival grounds! There will be cultural booths, souvenir booths, a children’s area, a stein holding contest, tapping of the keg with Mayor Jury, authentic German food and dancing and more. View the Facebook event here.


Stillman Valley Fall Festival

Downtown Stillman Valley, IL

September 28 – 29, 2024
Saturday from 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday from 9 am – 5 pm

Cost: Free admission, each experience costs money

The Stillman Valley Fall Festival includes events like a pancake breakfast, live music, car shows, a street dance, fireworks and more. There is a Kids Zone on Saturday and a parade on Sunday at 1 pm. Genoa Harvest Festival

Downtown Genoa, Illinois

October 5, 2024
Saturday from 9 am – 3 pm

Cost: Free admission, each experience costs money

The Genoa Harvest Festival has a movie night on Friday at David Carroll Memorial Park, family-friendly rides, a petting zoo, a fall farmers’ market, and fall kids’ activities. View the Facebook post here.


Lockwood Fall on the Farm

5201 Safford Rd, Rockford, IL

October 19 – 20, 2024
10 am – 5 pm

Cost: $12 per person

Autumn on Parade

Downtown Oregon, IL

October 5 – 6, 2024
Saturday from 8 am – 7 pm
Sunday from 8 am – 3 pm

Cost: Free admission, each experience costs money

Autumn on Parade in Oregon, IL includes 175 farmer’s market and craft fair booths, tractor and car show, tours, live music, and a carnival. View a list of events here.


St. Charles Scarecrow Fest

Downtown St. Charles, IL

October 11 – 13, 2024
Friday from 12 pm – 6 pm
Saturday from 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday from 10 am – 5 pm

Dixon’s Scarecrow Festival

Downtown Dixon, Illinois

October 19, 2024
Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm

Sycamore Pumpkin Festival

Downtown Sycamore, IL

October 23 – 27, 2024
Friday from 3 pm – 10 pm (Teen carnival)
Saturday from 12 pm – 10 pm
Sunday from 12 pm – 5 pm

The Sycamore Pumpkin Festival is a multi-day event including a 10K run, parade, carnival, shopping and more. View a list of events here.
