We’re getting some questions on INDOOR Trick or Treat or Trunk or Treat events happening tonight. Here are some options for Halloween fun while staying warm! All events listed are FREE unless noted!
DRIVE THRU EVENTS
Stay in your warm car and take the kids through the Festival of Frights in Sinnissippi Park in Rockford from dusk until 9 pm tonight. Candy will be handed out at the donation stand at select times.
Check out the Trickie’s Halloween display with tons of Minions from the comfort of your car. They are near 9226 Frontage Road off North Second Street (251) in Machesney Park. If their gates are open, you are welcome to drive through. Please stay in the car.
Drive past the 90+ carved Jack O Lanterns on C Street (near Sinnissippi Park in Rockford). Thanks Rock River Current for the heads up on this cool display!
INDOOR TRUNK OR TREATS
Trunk or Treat at Rockford Housing Authority (223 S. Winnebago St., Rockford, IL) from 4 pm – 6 pm. This will have candy, face painting, games, and prizes and be indoors.
Trunk or Treat at Jeff Perry Autos (1260 N. 7th St., Rochelle, IL) from 4 pm – 6 pm. There will be a photo booth and backdrop as well as a costume contest.
Trunk or Treat at New Life Ministries International (1400 Harvey St., Beloit, WI) from 5 pm – 7 pm. This event is indoor and outdoors and is Christmas themed! How perfect for the snow. There is free food at this event too.
Trunk or Treat at Patriots Gateway Community Center (619 S. 5th St., Rockford, IL) from 5 pm – 7 pm. They will be grilling hotdogs as well.
Trunk or Treat at First Lutheran (612 N. Randall Ave., Janesville, WI) from 5:30 pm – 7 pm.
ICE SKATING
Spooky Public Skate at Janesville Ice Arena from 7 pm – 8 pm. Admission is $5 per person and includes skate rental.
