Starting on Friday, May 29, Illinois restaurants are allowed to open outdoor dining and patio seating. We’ve put together a big list of all of the Rockford area restaurants that have outdoor dining available. We can’t wait to soak up some sunshine and enjoy a patio again!
Wisconsin restaurants have been open with indoor dining as well as outdoor dining since May 14th. Don’t forget about the awesome options in Beloit when you’re looking for a place to eat.
UPDATE: As of October 3, Winnebago, Boone, Lee, and Ogle counties among others, will stop allowing indoor dining at restaurants until the positivity rate decreases. We’ve updated the outdoor dining options. Email us at hello@statelinekids.com if your restaurant should be removed or added to this list.
What you need to know before you go out to eat
- Bring a mask. Many of the restaurants will be requiring masks when you are not seated.
- Before you go, check if you need a reservation. Many of the restaurants are requiring reservations for their patios.
- Parties are limited to six people for the time being.
- Be kind! This is a new process and there will be some bumps in the road. Our local restaurants have been working very hard to get their outdoor spaces ready for guests.
Restaurants with patio dining and outdoor dining are listed by city. Click the link to go to a restaurant’s Facebook page where you can find more information on hours and how to make your reservations.
