Kelly Myers Park is a beautiful little park with lots of trees, open fields, a creek, soccer and baseball fields, and a bike path looping through the park. There is a brand new playground with two structures – one for older kids and one for toddlers. This playground is unlike any other we’ve seen in the Stateline area. The older kid play structure has a variety of climbing ropes including tightropes and a rope tunnel/tube that reaches the double slide. The toddler structure has several built-in games, mirrors, and a bell as well as a small slide and play counter beneath the structure. There’s also a swing set and an Oodle swing that can fit 3-4 kids at once.
If you go, you may want to bring:
- Bug spray – There can be mosquitos
- Sunscreen – Some parts of the play structure get direct sunlight
- A packed lunch – There are nearby picnic tables
- Bikes, scooters, and ride-ons – There’s a bike path throughout the park
